All links that we provide for EASY ACCESS, which are articles, book reviews, sermons, messages from conferences or videos from you-tube, are CAREFULLY examined, in accordance with Scripture, BEFORE we use them, making them reliable BIBLICAL resources for research/discernment. JESUS says in Mt 7:15-16, "BEWARE of the FALSE PROPHETS, who come to you in sheep's clothing (they are IN the Church and have SOME Truth), BUT inwardly they are RAVENOUS WOLVES. Somehow, I always intend to go short, but end up going long... sorry about that! : )
Just wanted to let you know, I developed an overview, if you will, that you may find helpful in IDENTIFYING and discerning some of the false gospels/movements that are in the Church (Gal 1:6). When any of the "wolves in sheep's clothing" photos are clicked on, the overview will be seen. I am hoping & praying this general overview will be helpful, in some small way, in aiding the flock to IDENTIFY FT, "DIFFERENT GOSPELS," in the Church. The photos of books ("bad fruit"), in the library, not complete by any means, nor will it ever be as long as Satan is alive and roaming the earth seeking whom he may devour, are examples of works of "wolves in sheep's clothing", but what is KEY, is the Scriptures for IDENTIFYING them AND what may be helpful in addition is the overview of the TYPES of FT present in the Church. Also, you may find helpful, for understanding what is in error/false with these "bad fruits," the very carefully examined, according to Scripture, BIBLICAL links under the books, in the library. I am veeeeeery careful NOT to use any links that may contain SOME Truth, but yet expose the flock to FT, which btw, is the "schtick," as Todd Friel of Wretched TV says with Justin Peters, as how these "false prophets" can and do get into the Church in the first place. Thus, the "sheep's clothing."
Not only is it the goal of the group to INCREASE ⬆ BIBLICAL DISCERNMENT amongst the flock (Mt 24:24), by calling for it to be removed from the shelves of CB's, walk-ins or on-line stores, who are shoveling it by the boat loads to the flock, therefore, contributing to the great influence of the rise of FT in the Church, ultimately, but also to first and foremost present what the True Gospel is that these "wolves in sheep's clothing" are attacking. Thus, you will also find the True Gospel Message on this overview as well as the discussion board.
The Gospel is under attack more than ever! These "false prophets," as JESUS called them (Mt 24:11) & Peter called them (2 Pt 2:1) are disguising themselves as angels of light. ▶ Paul says, in 2 Cor 11:15, "Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also DISGUISE themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds."
They are sneaking in amongst the flock. ▶ Jude says, in verse 4, "For certain persons have CREPT IN UNNOTICED, those who were long beforehand marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ."
They manipulate Truth for their own personal gains. ▶Peter says, in 2 Pt 2:3, "...and in their GREED they will exploit you with FALSE words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep." The Gospel is under great attack! Many, in the Church, are not even sure just what the True Gospel is anymore! It is paramount for The True Gospel to be seen, then, on this overview and on the discussion board.
The Gospel, THE FULL COUNSEL OF GOD, is always the Means by which we are to be like the Bereans (Acts 17:11) & TEST EVERYTHING (1 Thes 5:21)!!!

Thank you ALL for your support and interest in this group! I thank you for your contributions which are all for the Lord's Truth and Glory! I pray that it has been helpful to you for increasing biblical discernment and encouraging with godly fellowship in your walk with the Lord. Thank you also for friend requests! : ) Since, however, there has been some nefarious activity with all three of my groups/personal info page, I am no longer ABLE to receive friend requests from folks I do not know personally for protective reasons for the groups as well as for my personal info.
Last night, someone reported all three groups as "abusive." This group, a group that supports and prays for Israel and one that supports a missionary friend who lost her home/ministry in Haiti during the quake last Jan. Should this group, or any of the others disappear, that would be the reason, that someone reported it.
Friends, be careful who YOU allow as a fb friend, esp if you have groups standing for the Truth (Jn 14:6, Jn 17:17).

Sorry I have been MIA, lately. About the only thing I've been able to do is remove spammers! hee! Tons going on and I am working on launching a website, but being the computer-illiterate person I am, it is taking longer than I thought. Perhaps, another week or two is in store. I'll let ya know!

Just an FYI: the wall will be temporarily closed as we have been discovered by a new set of sexually immoral spammers. The last time we were found by a set of spammers, we were peppered with their posts for several weeks. Rather than catch and remove all of the spam this go around, esp considering the content, posts will only be provided by me, for now. P.S. (or is it too late for a "p.s."?) Anyway, by opting to go with a "closed" setting for the group, yesterday, there's no need for the wall to be closed! What was I thinking!? Greetings and Grace in the Name of Christ Who is Lord!
In case anyone noticed I have not been as active with the group as of late, a first time occurrence, it has been a very exciting, busy and a tad bit tiring, but in a very joyful and glorious way, time for our family the last several weeks. We just underwent, for the most part, a move to be closer to our church of sound doctrine, which was almost an hour away from us, for nearly a year. New community, schools, the works! Hope and pray all is well with everyone. I plan to get some April posts at TBL the month of April, at least one!

Oh! And I noticed that fb removed the photos box that was featured on the front page under where the members' box is. However, members can still access photos of books/links in the photos TAB at the top of the page. See how important it was to get a website independent from fb??? They can make changes, etc any time they want.
So, be sure to visit http://thebereanlibrary.com where you will have access to a very helpful search box, the True Gospel, false gospels, a lot of "bad fruit" in Christian bookstores, etc. Remember, it is my goal to eventually get all the books and their links, the ones I already have in this group, transferred to the official site as well as adding new books that hit the shelves, simultaneously.

Just saw a notification that fb groups are being archived. Here's some more info on it ☛ http://www.facebook.com/help/?page=18966
When this happens, memberships may get cancelled and rejoining may be required. (?) So, if that happens, in general, this is the reason and not that members are being deleting by the admin.
I wonder if we should leave it as in the fb group format OR change it to a page since that is what they recommend for "a business." TBL is not a business, but rather a free, voluntary ministry with its own official website, which we do want to promote to help others identify FALSE TEACHING IN CHRISTIAN BOOKSTORES, all to the Glory of God and His Truth. If we opt to go to a page, the private message option to members is lost. Any info would be added to the wall only.
Any thoughts??

Yeah, looks like members do not get automatically transferred in the new fb group format, which is do to happen anytime.

I think I would like to keep it a closed, private group for now, until I can get all the books in the photos tab transferred.
My suggestion would be, if you would still like to be a member, after this archiving of fb groups occurs and your membership gets lost, then simply make a new request to rejoin the group.
